Gastón Intelisano was born in San Martín, Province of Buenos Aires, in 1978.
In 1996, he received a university scholarship from the National Congress, with which he pursued his higher education. For four years, he served as a university intern at the UMFIC (Forensic Medical Unit for Criminal Investigation), where he was able to closely observe the work of both doctors and forensic experts and attend numerous crime scenes and autopsies.
He holds a degree in Criminology, is a Radiologist, a professor, and an Expert for the Judicial Branch of the Province of Buenos Aires. Since 2022, he has regularly collaborated with the Forensic Anthropology Team of the National Genetic Data Bank.
He has participated in international crime fiction festivals, such as BAN! (Buenos Aires Negra), CORDOBA MATA (Córdoba), AZABACHE (Mar del Plata), LA CHICAGO ARGENTINA (Rosario) and in 2016 he was chosen to represent the country in GETAFE NEGRO, the prestigious Madrid Crime and Crime Novel Festival.
In 2011, he published "MODUS OPERANDI," his first novel, which earned him the distinction of "Work of Legislative Interest for the Province of Buenos Aires" from the Honorable Chamber of Deputies. This was followed by "EPICRISIS" (2013), "ERROR DE CALCULO" (2014), and "PRINCIPLE OF EXCHANGE" (2016). "OCKHAM'S RAZOR" (2019) and "FIRE WILL-O'-WILL" (2023), the sixth case investigated by Santiago Soler, the protagonist of the saga. In 2021, he published his first popular science book, entitled "ELEMENTAL, MY DEAR SCIENCE (FORENSIC)," which is part of the SCIENCE THAT BARKS collection, edited by Diego Golombek and published by Siglo XXI Editores.
He is currently working on her second nonfiction book and her seventh novel and is a crime columnist on CNN Radio's "Al fin y al cabo" program.
