Javier Núñez (Rosario, 1976) is a writer and coordinator of literary workshops. He was a contributor for several years to the back cover of Rosario/12, the local supplement of the newspaper Página/12.

 

He has published the following books: Nobody's Daughter (Nobody's Daughter, 2023, Casa de las Américas Publishing House (Cuba); The Music of Lost Things (Novel, 2022, UNR Editora/Eduvim (Argentina); Postcards from an Impossible Map (2021), Illustrated Fiction (Listocalisto, Argentina); The Secret Pulse of Things (2021), Essay (Word of the World, Argentina); When Everything Breaks (Short Stories, 2020, UV Publishing House (Mexico); After the Fire (Novel, 2017, The Black Fish, Argentina); The Fierce Beauty of the World (Short Stories, 2017, Casagrande, Argentina). He won the Casa de las Américas Novel Award (2022) and the Sergio Galindo Latin American First Novel Award (2012). The Rosario City Council declared him a Distinguished Writer. Some of his books have been published in Mexico, Spain, Uruguay, the United States, Peru, and Italy.
