Silvana Erica Merlo is a literary agent with a solid track record spanning over twelve years in the cultural sector. As the founder and director of the SEM Literary Agency, she has built an independent venture focused on fostering trusting relationships with authors and artists, providing them with comprehensive services for the promotion, dissemination, and enhancement of their work. Her previous experience as Secretary of Culture for the Municipality of Villa Mercedes—as well as her role as founder and director of the Villa Mercedes National Book Fair, an event that drew over 60,000 attendees and featured prominent national writers—demonstrates her capacity to manage, promote, and elevate large-scale cultural projects.
Holding a degree in Political Science and postgraduate qualifications in cultural management and communication, Silvana combines rigorous academic training with extensive practical experience, establishing herself as a professional deeply committed to the development and advancement of literature and the arts.
